Preschool-age children and their adults are invited to Salamonie Preschool’s “Earth Day,” April 18.
Children can make a craft and learn how to take care of the planet. The class will run from 10-11:30 a.m., and again from 12:30-2 p.m., at Salamonie Interpretive Center, in Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area, Andrews.
Each program is designed to enhance the preschooler’s basic education, including learning letters, making a craft, social interaction and time outdoors, always with a nature-related theme.
The program fee is $2 per child. Advance registration is appreciated. Register by calling Upper Wabash Interpretive Services (UWIS) at 260-468-2127.
