Brad Paisley and Lady Antebellum will headline the Bud Light Seltzer Sessions concert tomorrow night. Streaming live on Bud Light’s social platforms, the event will benefit the American Red Cross to aid first responders and those directly involved in helping with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thomas Rhett’s Beer Can’t Fix is his ninth consecutive number one on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart but he’s still got a long way to go to catch Blake Shelton, who scored 17 straight chart toppers between 2010 and 2016. The overall country chart record for most consecutive number one hits belongs to Alabama, which scored 21 consecutive number ones between 1980-1987 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart before the Airplay chart was created back in 1990.

Runaway June’s Jennifer Wayne is on the mend from her battle with COVID-19 and says the experience has made her more appreciative of her body rather than critical like she was in the past. Jennifer hopes to return to Nashville later in May to re-join bandmates Hannah Mulholland and Naomi Cook in working on new music.

Vince Gill’s longtime friend and guitar tech Benny Garcia has died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. The 64-year-old passed away in Oklahoma on Saturday (May 9). Within country, Garcia also worked with Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and the Dixie Chicks.

Maggie McGraw, the middle daughter of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, is helping feed frontline workers as part of the non-profit Feed The Frontline in the Nashville area. The organization provides meals to essential workers free of charge while also striving to help restaurants impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sara Evans was initially reluctant to release her covers album, Copy That, tomorrow, but upon further reflection believes maybe the timing is perfect with people looking for new music to listen to, new books to read, and new shows to watch. Sara adds that she had so much fun making Copy That, she’s already thinking about doing another covers album in the not-too-distant future.
