Indiana’s 20-month public health emergency could come to an end in the next six weeks. Governor Holcomb’s emergency order makes Indiana eligible for extra Medicaid funding and widens who can administer vaccinations. Holcomb says ending the emergency would require putting those steps in state law first. House Speaker Todd Huston says legislators may return to work early to do it.
