A Marion gem is now off the market.
SOS Marion has announced the sale of 917 S. Adams St., a large brick house created by Samuel Plato.
According to Grant County Historian and SOS Marion representative Bill Munn, the property has been sold to construction engineer Maurizio Matta of Dallas Texas.
Munn said Matta has already put renovations in motion on both the main structure and the carriage house.
While the building has been both a residence and a commercial space, it remains unclear how Matta plans to utilize his new property.
