Court blocks Indiana law that goes against National Voter Registration Act

You can’t be kicked off the roll of registered voters without direct communication and without the notice and waiting period required by the National Voter Registration Act. The US Court of Appeals in Chicago finds Indiana’s law at odds with the federal law, denying the state’s appeal of a lower court ruling. Indiana lost a similar case in 2018. The law was re-written in 2020.
