Police in Kokomo were investigating the death of a woman, who was found shot in a backyard Monday night.
But when they entered the home, investigators found a man, alive, tied up in the bathtub. He told police he had been left there for the last 11 days, and the suspects — who he knew — had burned him with hot water over a period of days.
The woman found dead has been identified as 25-year-old Lashay Young-Beard.
Neighbors south of Foster Park with surveillance cameras are asked to call Kokomo PD.
