After losing about 30 students, Oak Hill is now looking at how to make financial cuts to cover the loss.
Oak Hill Superintendent Joel Martin says staff cuts are on the table. At Monday’s school board meeting Martin explained how Oak Hill had a higher number of hours given to instructional assistants. A reduction in force is also an option, which would effect impacted teachers between May and July.
Martin said they will evaluate all instructional assistant positions, and may not include cutting the positions, but maybe reducing hours. You can read more in today’s Chronicle Tribune.
